Gingerbread House Math Project

After finishing our first round of state testing in reading and math AND the first trimester, we've started our 4th grade geometry.  In class, we're writing blueprints and calculating perimeters and areas.  At home, the assignment is to build the perfect gingerbread house, using any holiday materials at hand.  If your child's house isn't to exact blueprint specifications, don't worry!  This project is intended to be family fun!  The finished house is due December 14th.
